2022年6月にflyingteapotから直接購入しました。LEDは赤色を指定して制作していただきました。

室内での試し弾きで一度使用したのみの新同品です。とてもいい歪みなのですが、残念ながら私のボードには入れるスペースがなく機材整理の為に出品いたします。

Reindeer RDD-2
 伝統的なディストーションペダルをベースに、サウンドの幅を拡大しビンテージオーバードライブからモダンハイゲインまでを広くカバーできるようなペダルに仕上げました。
2つのトグルスイッチにより、様々なアンプやギター、プレイスタイルに対応できるようにしています。元々は以前作っていたReindeer
Distortion(RDD)の後継機として開発を進めていましたが、その過程でビンテージオリジナルやその他各年代のオリジナル、またモディファイペダルなどを研究し、それぞれのペダルの良いところをなるべくシンプルなコントロールで1台に詰め込みました。その結果、ローゲインではフロントピックアップと合わせた時の甘い粘りのドライブから歯切れの良いサチュレーションサウンド、ハイゲインではスムーズでファットなリードからバイト感のハッキリしたディストーションサウンドが堪能できます。2つのトグルスイッチは、一方が歪みのコンプレッション感に影響するスイッチで、Deepモードにするとディストーションらしい深い歪みとコンプレッションが得られ、Boostモードでは歪みが浅くなる代わりに音量が上がりコンプレッションも少なめのレスポンスが良い歪みとなります。もう一方のトグルスイッチはサウンド全体のトーンに影響し、Brightモードでは弦のアタックが強めのジャキっとしたトーンが得られ、Fatモードではローミッドが強めのトーンが得られます。このスイッチはアンプやギターとの相性で設定すると効果的です。例えばスタンダードなソリッドステートアンプはローが固めに出てしまう事が多いのでBrightモードにし、トーンも少し上げ気味にするとローだけ音圧を強く感じるようなことが減ります。逆に真空管アンプではエフェクターの高域が強すぎるとチリチリとした成分が耳につくような事があるのでFatモードにするかトーンを少し絞り目にすると甘いトーンが得やすいですね。
